Completed Projects

With the construction completion and sale of our fifth home this year in the City of South Haven, we have completed our first grant cycle with MSDHA.  All five homes were built by Garden Homes, Inc. of South Bend, Indiana.  For more information on construction services offered by Garden Homes, go to http://gardenhomes.org/.

The addition of these homes has made a noticeable positive impact on the target neighborhood.  In addition, two of these homes were built on lots that previously held condemned structures, the removal of which is a huge plus for the area and is greatly appreciated by surrounding residents.  This positive influence is reflected in residents who are starting to take more pride in their neighborhood and improve their properties as well. 

This home is located at 415 Elkenburg Street, South Haven.  It is modified version of the Heritage Model and is nearly completed.  This is HDC's first renovated home.  All windows, doors and the roof have been replaced.  With the addition of a bedroom and 1/2 bath this remodeled 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath is a great home.  The floor plans are available at our office.
